Valor Plumbing serves Ellensburg homeowners and landlords, from historic downtown houses to rentals near Central Washington University and homes across the valley.
Ellensburg is the Kittitas County seat and home to Central Washington University, with a historic downtown that was rebuilt in brick after the great fire of 1889. Around it are neighborhoods of older homes, student rentals near campus and newer houses spreading out into the valley. Valor Plumbing serves Ellensburg homeowners, landlords and property managers.
Ellensburg's older neighborhoods near downtown include homes with aging galvanized water lines, cast iron drains and older sewer laterals, while rentals near campus put steady wear on fixtures, drains and water heaters. The valley's winters are cold, with hard freezes and the wind Ellensburg is known for, which pulls heat out of drafty crawlspaces and exterior walls and puts exposed pipes at risk. Rentals that sit empty over school breaks need extra attention when temperatures drop.
We serve homes and businesses in and around Ellensburg, including Downtown Ellensburg and the CWU campus area.

Before tenants leave, set the thermostat to a safe minimum and make sure tenants know not to turn the heat off. Disconnect hoses, open sink cabinets on exterior walls, and consider shutting off the water to units that will be empty for weeks. A quick check of crawlspace insulation and foundation vents before break prevents most freeze damage.
Leave the house, avoid light switches and open flames, and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. Do not try to relight the pilot. Once the utility has made it safe, we can repair or replace the water heater and its gas connection.
