Valor Plumbing serves Federal Way homes and businesses with repairs, water heaters, drain cleaning, sewer work and repipes, from Twin Lakes to Steel Lake.
Federal Way incorporated in 1990, but most of its neighborhoods were built out long before that, during the suburban growth of the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Many of those homes still have their original drain and sewer lines, now decades old. Valor Plumbing, based nearby in Kent, helps Federal Way homeowners keep those systems working and replace them when it is time.
Water and sewer service for most of Federal Way comes from Lakehaven Water and Sewer District rather than the city. If your side sewer or water service line needs repair, the district's requirements apply, and we coordinate that as part of the job.
Homes from the 1970s and 1980s are right in the window where shutoff valves seize, water heaters need replacing and older sewer lines start to show cracks and root intrusion. Federal Way's lakes and wooded lots are a big part of its appeal, but large trees near a sewer line are a leading cause of repeat backups.
We serve homes and businesses in and around Federal Way, including Twin Lakes, Steel Lake, Mirror Lake, Lakota, West Campus and Dash Point.

Most Federal Way properties are served by Lakehaven Water and Sewer District, which sets the requirements for side sewer and water service connections. When we repair or replace a line, we handle the permit and inspection steps with the right agency so the work is documented and done to code.
In established neighborhoods with mature trees, roots in the side sewer are a leading cause. Grease buildup in kitchen lines and sagging sections of older pipe are the other usual suspects. We clear the line, then camera it so you can see the cause and choose the right fix.
